With IRTAmar®, delivery is not the end of the process. Before handing over any equipment, we run a two-day on-site training course for the team at the Centro Oceanográfico de Murcia COMU (CSIC-IEO) in San Pedro del Pinatar who will work with the system every day, including:
👷 Installation staff
🛠️ Support and maintenance team
🔬 Researchers

Over those two days, we go through the entire system, step by step:
💧 Hydraulics: water circuits, flows and how recirculation works.
⚡ Electrical systems: power distribution, protections and safe operation.
🎛️ Automation and control: monitoring, alarms and remote management, so you keep full control of your parameters.
🔧 Assembly and operation tips: practical know-how from our scientists and engineers to get the installation right from the start and operate it with confidence.
A reliable RAS is not only about robust engineering. Its performance ultimately depends on the people who understand, operate and maintain it.

Working with a small, focused group means hands-on learning, direct answers to real operational questions and, above all, a team that understands not only what to do, but why they are doing it.
The result is a smoother start-up, safer operation, faster troubleshooting and more reliable and reproducible research. And this is where we believe IRTAmar® makes a real difference.
Training and capacity building are not an optional extra. They are an integral part of the system we deliver. Through the combined expertise of IRTA and INGESOM, we transfer the scientific, engineering and operational know-how required to get the most out of every installation, helping users become confident and autonomous in their day-to-day work.
Because delivering a RAS is relatively easy. Delivering the knowledge and expertise to operate it successfully is where the real value lies. That is the IRTAmar® approach: patented technology, full traceability, expert support and knowledge transfer, from the first bolt to the first trial, and beyond.
