That is the thinking behind IRTAmar, bringing together aquaculture research with digital monitoring, automation and control to help operators and researchers better understand and manage what is happening across their systems.

And now, we’re working to bring that capability into Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region.

OCNARK has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries (IRTA) and Ingesom Sistemas de Digitalización bringing together three complementary strengths:

IRTA: aquaculture research and scientific expertise
INGESOM: automation, monitoring and digital control technologies
OCNARK: system design, technology integration, project delivery and regional support across APAC

Together, we are creating a pathway for IRTAmar technology to move from research and innovation into real aquaculture applications.
